Rounded reflection on the key priorities for 2013: tactics to succeed now, unfinished business carried forward and new opportunities.
Each year in January we see a slew of predictions and forecasts which focus mainly upon the new. At IRX we’re taking the views of commercial leaders from the whole multichannel ecosystem and we’re weighing the many thoughts vying for prominence in the minds and agenda of multichannel commercial leaders.
And yet, despite the advances in technology, online fraud continues to rise…
We consider:
- Yesterday’s new thing: which initiatives and priorities from previous year(s) are high on the agenda – the unfinished business, or initiatives that took longer than we’d have liked?
- New new - what are the new opportunities that have emerged from the hype and which have found a place in the 2013 commercial delivery plans?
- Bubbling ideas - emergent ideas that are taking brain and planning time, and which are worthy of attention, but may not take shape until the 2014 implementation windows?
We are going to survey the IRX speakers (leading multichannel practitioners), our expert and innovative Exhibitors and senior industry figures from the UK’s top 200 retailers.
Our Conference Directors, Chairs and Editorial Team will collate the views to give a broadly-based, highly-commercial view of the areas of importance and action in our industry, distilled into the IRX Top 13 Trends for 2013
At IRX in March 2013 we will unveil the results with a discussion panel made up of Internet Retailing Editors, senior executives from top multichannel retailers and Chaired by Internet Retailing Editor-in-Chief, Ian Jindal, Q&A and retailer reception, thereafter publication in Internet Retailing magazine and online.
