The key highlights of the report are as follows:

  • Product price, free shipping and testimonials & reviews are the top 3 factors influencing consumers’ purchase decisions.
  • In 2023, 54% of customers expect their deliveries within 1-2 days of the estimated delivery date, a notable jump from 24.9% in 2022.
  • Europe saw a slowdown in peak season growth last year, with parcel volumes increasing by only 64.2% during Black Friday and Cyber Monday period as compared to 69.7% in 2021.
  • The United States, the United Kingdom, and France are projected to take the lead this peak season, boasting an anticipated 5-20% increase in performance growth as compared to the preceding year.
